New Southease to Rodmell Footpath

NEW SOUTHEASE TO RODMELL FOOTPATH NOW OPEN

A view from the footpath

You can now walk the half mile between Southease and Rodmell villages on a new footpath across the fields, enjoying marvellous views and avoiding the narrow path along the busy road.

Both villages have much to offer:

Southease has the South Downs Way, an attractive village green, specialist plant nursery, a recently restored Listed Swing Bridge, and a Railway Station with links to Lewes, Brighton and London;

Rodmell has a pub, The Abergavenny Arms, the National Trust property, Monks House, a Primary school and is much larger with a wealth of interesting houses;

Both have beautiful Historic Parish Churches which are open every day.
